Since the last update, been to 2 trips: Zacatecas and Cuenavaca

Zacatecas (4 Feb - 6 Feb)

Zacatecas is a town which makes tequilla (sth. like vodka) and it has a long history. Silver mining was very famous in the past and we did go to the mine and c all the stuff there...was soo tempting to get one of the rocks down and get rich....

Ming has abandoned us coz he has a fd living in zacatecas =.=

Arrived Zacatecas after 8 hours bus journey...looked soooooo shit & tiring....and it was DAMN cold there....

The hostel that we are living in...............god...it was nice apart form they haven't got enough duvet and i was shivering for the whole night and couldn't sleep due to some v. special reason.....

Cuenavaca

Cuenavaca is has a name called eternal spring coz of its weather...but when we went there i thought it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO hot and sunny (too sunny)

Set off in the early morning...........6.45 am flight........=.=

Two ladies who save our asses coz the hostel that we suppose to b goin was CLOSED DOWN.....and they help us to find another one which is nice and cheap as well:)....AND ...its a HOTEL

As I have just mentioned that Mexicans are v. fond of Asians..when we went to the site .... A LOT OF people ask us to take with them..ho ho ho....we 2 were just like celebrities there...busy taking pics with mexicans kids and their teachers...........Lemme show u proofs...and these are just SOME of the pics.. coz we cna't b bothered to take more.......hahaha...and many ppl said we are pretty (bonita) and say 'hi' to us on the street and asked our names...never been sooooo popular in my life....:O)

OK....and then in Feb...we went clubbing only ONCE......................but i have hit the monthly upload limit again..if u wanna c u can have it all in facebook!!!:)

OKay...started 2 weeks of school already...

Works are FLOODING in...can't believe how much work do they have here in this univeristy (ITESM, Technologico de Monterrey) in MEXICO (which is suppose to be one of the hea-est place in the world).. for the 1st 2 weeks of school, i've already taken 2 quizzes and had one presentation.........this coming week...more exciting!!! 3 quizzes+ 1 IMPORTANT presentation (which counts 20% of the course grade=.=").....

My Spanish is GETTING BETTER EVERYDAY!!!yea!~~~ Como esta? Tengo....So..soon.. u can talk to me in Spanish!~i hope..

There are soo many jokes that we have made here coz of the lang. barrier:

1) Ruby pretending to be a chicken in Walmart in order to ask the shop assistant where the 'eggs' is.. but the shop assistant looked at her like maniac

2) I asked the shop assistant in Sorianna (a supermarket) whether I can put the bowl into microwave, and i have to communicate with the body language...pretending i am pressing the microwave with 'sound effect---'dudududu..ding!' .........

3) I want to get a receipt from the pharmacy so that I can claim my insurance, and she spoke spanish and she wanna my info. So i have to give her every single document e.g. HKID, School ID (i left my passport at home) to her but SHE STILL CANNOT GET THE INFO..so i had to call a chinese boy to come and save me...=,="

4) We ordered Starbucks at school (yes, we have starbucks in campus..nice!) and they always mispelled my name as 'michell', 'mitchell' and spelled Ruby's as 'Ruti', 'Rubi'...=.=

BUT....despite all these

there are sooo many HOT HOT HOT HOT guys here in the campus and everyday, we have new discoveries of LENG JAIS here in TEC..the girls are really pretty and hot hot hot as well and they are all really nice and friendly...haha...love this...going to school and 'gup jai' at the same time... 最佳視覺享受...jeng!

We have to get into teams for each marketing course..so I had four teams...One of my favourite team is Maketing Research where there is one guy from Holland (leng jai), one guy from Norway(Ruby thinks he looks like prince of Norway), one guy from France (ok...), 2 mexican guys (1 leng jai and 1 is coming to UST next sem) and 1 mexican girl (nice nice girl) and ME!~~~hoho....Ruby was sooooooooooooooooooooooooo jealous about my team coz she got an ALL girls team (well, with a boy but she thinks he drop the course)....But I love this team not becoz of the leng jais but coz the ppl are sooooo nice in this team... we presented starbucks last week and we did EXCELLENT on it!

Mexico is not as backward and dangerous as ppl think..well..apart from the transportation..which is really really confusing as the cars keep on moving no matter it is green or red light....=.="" so..it is pretty dangerous to cross a road here....

The campus..god....it is ACTUALLY a zoo...they have 2 deers, at least 6 peacocks...uncountable ducks( i saw DUCKLINGS !!so cute) and if u chased after the peacocks, u will never ever able to enter the campus again coz they will just KICK U OUT of the campus (peacocks @ ITESM = FREAKS)..luckily i didn't do that coz sb did that stupid thing! BUT..what the hell are they DOIN HERE IN AN UNI!~?

Have been to clubbing twice (yes...they do PARTY A LOT here !!~~ and drink A LOT here!!~alcohol is REALLY cheap here).......and Ruby...hahaha..got hunted sooo many times and it is nice to watch!~

Went to Town Centre ytd by BUS (haha...with nobody speaking spanish), well, i already regard this as an adventure for us!~We also went to a a lake ytd night and had the BEST food ever in MEXICO!!~~~it is a place like Stanley~~~~they have a HUGE lake where u can get on a boat and have a nice trip, we went to a restaurant where they have cute cute children and i just love playing with them~~

After exactly 24 hours of flights and waiting, finally arrived in Mexico...

Ruby lost her luggage so we hv to wait for nearly 2 hours for her lugguage to arrive...0.0

I m just COMPLETELY knackered and sooooo damn tired atm...never bin sooo tired before

NORTHWEST is not as bad as expected, its seats are a lot wider than Cathay n BA hahahaha

All we did on the plane was EAT EAT EAT...we are both getting fat...we hv eaten 4 plane meals on plane and 1 meal at Tokyo Airport, so 5 meals  in total...i think...

Everyone here speaks LITTLE english...and we even got communication prob with the immigration officer=.=, I wish I worked harder to learn my spanish last term......

got my Mexican mobile today n it took us sooo long coz of lang. barrier...........
